Description
Talash Rose oil (also sometimes referred to in the industry as rose 'otto' or 'attar' meaning fragrance) is a blend of 3% pure Rose oil with 97% jojoba golden carrier oil. The reason for the blend is to reduce the potency of the rose oil. Rose otto is obtained through steam distillation and is pale yellow in color. Damask Rose has pink or red, very fragrant double flowers. This was the rose most used by the early Arab perfume makers, who introduced it to Europe. Damask Rose is a hybrid resulting from the fusion of R. gallica and R. moschata.
