Description
Sweet Marjoram is an aromatic herb, with dark-green ovate leaves and spiky clusters of small flowers, white to pink in color. Cultivated by the Egyptians pot marjoram was used to make perfumes, unguents and medicines and the plant was dedicated to Osiris, the god who was king of the afterlife and overlord of agriculture.
