Description
Lemongrass is a fast growing, tall, aromatic perennial grass that grows up to 1.5 metres in height. It is native to Asia, but is now cultivated mostly in the West Indies, Africa, and Tropical Asia.

Origin: India
Therapeutic Properties: West Indian lemongrass has analgesic, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, carminative, fungicidal, sedative and tonic properties, while East Indian lemongrass has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, sedative and digestive tonic properties.
